Henry A. Huck

Henry A. Huck, 79, of Greenwood, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March
28, 2007.

He was born April 11, 1927, in Indianapolis. Henry worked at Eli Lilly and Co.
for 36 years, retiring in 1986. He was a longtime member and past elder at
Franklin Memorial Christian Church and was a charter member of New Whiteland
Christian Church.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and an avid golfer and enjoyed
woodworking and writing short stories. He volunteered with Mended Hearts at
Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy M. (DeLay) Huck; two children,
Tom (Kathy) Huck and Diana Huck; a granddaughter, Erin (Jeff) Keller; two
great-granddaughters, Alexa and Danica Keller; a brother, Norman (Marie) Huck;
and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Hargreaves) Huck; two sisters,
Kay Stanley and Velma Taylor; and a brother, Ray Huck.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin Memorial Christian
Church, 1720 N. Graham Road. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at G.H.
Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, and from 10 a.m. until
service time Saturday at the church. He will be laid to rest in Acton Cemetery.
