Edna H. (Woodruff) Hofmann
Edna H. (Woodruff) Hofmann, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Greenwood Health and Living Center. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born March 9, 1910, in Belle, Miss. Her parents were Logan and Ella (Willard) Woodruff. She married Albert H. Hofmann. He preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors include two sons, Jim Hofmann and Jack Hofmann, both of Greenwood; two daughters, Shirley Blevins of Indianapolis and Sharon Matheaur of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bob and Dick Hofmann.
She was employed as a sales associate for 50 years by L.S. Ayres, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood.
A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
