OBITUARY.
Margaret E. McIntosh Hill was born Jan. 15, 1836, near Bedford, Trimble county, Ky., and died at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, 1899, aged 63 years.
She married John S. Hill Dec. 27, 1857, and to this union four children were born—Mrs. James Ward, Mrs. Samuel Bagby, Frank and one daughter who died when 7 years old. Her husband died Oct. 20, 1889, on their farm south of Greenwood. Soon after, the widowed mother moved to Greenwood with Frank. Dec. 10, 1888, Mr. Hill and wife united with the Christian church, and both remained consistent Christians until called.
Dec. 22, 1898, mother Hill fell on the ice and broke her arm and never recovered from the fall. She was a constant sufferer, but bore it like only a Christian can. She died at the home of Mrs. Bagby, her daughter. A good Christian mother, neighbor, friend gone home.
