EDINBURGH — Earl Hazel­wood, 45, Edinburgh resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday night in Tulsa, Okla. He was an independent truck driver.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburgh by the Rev. Lawrence Tedrow. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Persons may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Hazelwood was born Nov. 11, 1931, at Waynesville, Ohio, the son of Charles Emmons and Emma May Burnell Hazelwood.

Survivors include the mother, Emma May Cook of Prince’s Lake; six children, Wayne, Lloyd, Char­lotte and Stephanie Hazelwood, all of Edinburgh and Alvin Dale Hazel­wood and Teresa Toler, both of Eustis, Fla.; four brothers, Gene Hazelwood of Trafalgar, Harry Ha­zelwood of California, Vearl Hazelwood of Alabama and Major Hazelwood of Florida; seven sisters, Viola Parks of Seattle, Wash., Mar­garet Sheets of Lebanon, Ohio, Mary Emma Christman of Cal­ifornia, Grace Marie Lee of Florida, Naomi Roberts of Marietta, Ohio, and Maudalene Carpenter and Clara Lewis, both of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald, and a brother, Lloyd.
