Mary, the little fourteen months old daughter of Albert Haymaker and wife, died Saturday night of pleura pneu­monia fever of but a week’s illness, and was buried Monday morning at the Bluff Creek cemetery. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.

Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Health Officer’s Record Number 4, page 112, records that Mary Haymaker died from gastritis of six days duration on 24 Feb 1900 in Union Township, Johnson County, Indiana, aged one year, one month and twenty-six days. She was female, white, single, born in Johnson County, Indiana. Her father’s name was Albert O. Haymaker and her mother’s maiden name Toka Beck, both born in Johnson County. She was buried in Bluff Creek on 26 Feb 1900, Covert & Covert, undertakers.
