Mrs. Lillie E. Haymaker, a young and respected lady of this place, died Saturday. A funeral service was held at the M.E. church Sunday evening. The services were conducted by Elder Van Cleve; after services they proceeded with the remains to the Simpson ceme­tery which was followed by a very large crowd of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lillie E. Haymaker, formerly Miss Lille E. Utterback, was born in the year 1872. She united with the M.E. church in the year 1890. She was united in marriage with J.C. Haymaker in the spring of 1891. To them was born one child which passed away about a month ago to await the coming of its mother. The death of the deceased was caused by consumption which she had been fighting for several months.
