Sarah A. Harmon, wife of the late Captain Joseph Harmon, died at her home in Greenwood on last Friday, at the age of sixty-seven years. She was a most estimable Christian lady and her death is mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends in that locality. The funeral took place on Sunday and was very largely attended. She leaves a family of nine children all grown.

OBITUARY.

Sarah Ann Wilson was born in Guil­ford County, N. C., December 2, 1823. She was married to Joseph Harmon May 19th, 1842, and eleven children were born unto them, six daughters and five sons of which two sons are dead. Aunt Sallie, as she was familiarly known, died March 20th, 1890, aged 66 years, 3 months and 18 days. She was the last of four sisters to depart. She leaves two brothers, Jas. D. Wilson of the old home, Major McDonald Wilson, of Tama, Iowa. She was for 35 years a consistent member of the Christian church, a good mother and wife, a quiet clever neighbor. Another home broken up as her husband died Sept. 25th 1883.
