CHARLES GUNDRUM

  Charles Earnest Gundrum, 71,
Indiana Masonic Home, died February
19 at Johnson County Memorial
Hospital following a lengthy
illness.
  An Edinburgh native, he had lived
at the Masonic Home since April,
1984. Services were held Friday at
11 a.m. at Eskew-Eaton Funeral
Home.  A Masonic Memorial service
was held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at
the funeral home.  Burial followed
at Rest Haven Cemetery.
  Born January 5, 1914, he was the
son of Ray and May (Griswold)
Gundrum.  He married Dorothea Hill
October 16, 1934.  She survives.
  Formerly an employee of the
Edinburgh Post Office for 18 years,
he also worked for the
Amos-Thompson Corp. until his
retirement in 1972.  Mr. Gundrum
also worked as a dealer for Blakely
Monument Co.
  He was active in Boy Scouts in the
Edinburgh area and was a member of
the gospel quartet Chapelaires.  He
was a member of the Edinburgh
United Methodist Church and Masonic
Lodge 100.
  In addition to his wife, other
survivors include two daughters,
Sharon Calvert of Edinburgh and
Nancy Ireland of Phoenix, Arizona
and three grandchildren.
