Donald L. Griffith Donald L. Griffith, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Manor Care South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis. He was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Edinburgh. His parents were Ben and Mollie (Krook) Griffith. Survivors include a brother, Mark Griffith of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Griffith. He was employed for 32 years by Chrysler Corp. as a tool grinder. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 550. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Pastor Anne Hutchins-Case will conduct a service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, with military honors to follow. Friends may call from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.Indianapolis Star, 4 August 2001
