Death of John Green.
John Green died at four o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence of his son-in-law, J. S. Buckner, in East Franklin. He was in his sixtieth year, and had been a sufferer from consumption for more than a year, which had resulted from an attack of la grippe three years ago. He formerly resided at Cope, Morgan county, but had moved to this city last fall, together with his wife who survives him. The funeral was held yesterday at eleven o’clock at First Mt. Pleasant church.
