Died on Wednesday night, Jan. 22, old Uncle Billie Grass, of Smith’s Valley. He had been sick but a short time yet he was getting aged and feeble. He had served as squire for some time. He was buried on Friday at 10:30 a.m.

Conrad Grass and Thomas Mullinex, both residents of our town lost their fathers by death last week. Both were old citizens of the township, and worthy and honorable gentlemen. They will be missed in their communities as well as in their families.
