Death of Thomas Gaughan.
Thomas Gaughan, a well-known citizen living near Needham, died Sunday night at eleven o’clock, in his sixty-third year. He had been a resident of Johnson county twenty-five years and was held in great respect. He had been in poor health for many months suffering from dropsy but not until last week was he confined to the bed. A wife and one son survive him.
The remains were taken to Vernon, Wednesday, for burial, accompanied by a number of relatives and friends.
