Mrs. Garrison dies on Tuesday
      FRANKLIN -- Mrs. Emory (Mildred) Garrison, 59, 
of Franklin died at 11 p.m. Tuesday at Indianapolis Methodist 
Hospital.  Funeral services will be announced later and are 
being arranged by the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mildred Garrison dies Tuesday in Indianapolis
      FRANKLIN -- Mrs. Mildred E. Garrison, a native of 
Bartholomew county, died Tuesday night at Methodist 
Hospital, Indianapolis.  She had been ill for six weeks 
and had undergone surgery ten days ago.
      Born November 5, 1907, she was the daughter of 
Clarence and Ethel Hughes Cooper.  She was married 
in 1926 to Emery Garrison, who preceded her in death 
in 1952.
      She is survived by two children, Betty Bradley of 
New Mexico, and Robert of Franklin, and eight grand-
children.
      Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Wright, 
Edinburg, and Mrs. Martha Jane Dolan, Columbus.
      She was a member of the Tabernacle Christian 
church and was employed by the William H. Block Co.
      The Rev. James Ellerbrook will conduct funeral 
services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Flinn and Maguire 
Funeral Home.  Friends may call at the funeral home 
Thursday from 7-9 p.m.; Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. 
and until time of services. 
      Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
