EDINBURG. — William Galey, who had been ill for six years, died Friday morning at 11:45 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marcella Lee.

Funeral services have been plan­ned for 10 o’clock Monday mor­ning and will be in the Edinburg Methodist Church. The Rev. Ray Bozell, pastor of Old Union Chris­tian church, will be in charge of the services and burial is to take place in Rest Haven cemetery.

Calling Hours Set

Friends may call at the Mutz Funeral Home Saturday night from 7 to 9 o’clock and after 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the daughter’s home, 717 South Walnut street, and until noon Monday. They are invited to attend the rites.

The son of the late William and Almeda Ross Galey, Mr. Galey was born in Kentucky on Nov. 18, 1881.

He was married to Delia Coy on Jan. 27, 1909, and two children were born to them. A son, Wayne, died in July 1916.

Mr. Galey had been a farmer and had resided in the Edinburg vicinity most of his life. He had retired.

He was a member of the New Bethel Christian church.

Those who survive are the wid­ow, the daughter, a grandson, and nieces and nephews.

78, DIES

William Galey, 78, died at 11:45 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marcella Lee, Edinburg, where he had been in ill health for six years.

Mr. Galey was born Nov. 18, 1881 to William and Almeda Ross Galey in Kentucky, and was married Jan. 27, 1909, to Delia Coy.

Surviving with his wife and daugh­ter is one grandson and several nieces and nephews. A son, Wayne, died in July, 1916.

Funeral services will be held at Mutz funeral home at Edinburg be­tween 7 to 9 o’clock Saturday night, and at the residence, 717 South Walnut Street, after 2 o’clock Sunday after­noon until 9 o’clock Monday morning.
