Thelma L. Galey
      Thelma L. Galey, 76, died Friday morning at Johnson Memorial 
Hospital in Franklin.  She was a resident of Amity.
      She was born April 7, 1915, in Delaware County to Frank Conwell 
and Lucy (Paul) Conwell.  She was married June 27, 1935, to Hugh D. 
Galey.  He survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Maurice Dale 
Galey of Fayetteville, N.C., and Fred D. Galey of Melbourne, Fla.; 
two sisters, Goldie Mosier of Madison, Fla., and Mary Guffey of 
Hartford City; and five grandchildren. 
      She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
      She was a member of the Moreland Christian Church in Moreland.  
She attended Ball State University and worked as a nurse for several 
years.  She was retired.
      A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Larry 
Scott at the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.  Burial will be 
at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.  Calling will be from 9 a.m. to 
time of the service Tuesday.

      EDINBURGH --  Thelma L. Galey, 76, of Amity, died Friday 
at Johnson County Hospital.
      She was a member of Moreland Christian Church, attended 
Ball State University and worked in nursing several years.
      Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Larry Scott at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, where calling will be 
from 9 a.m. to service time.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Born April 7, 1915, in Delaware County, Mrs. Galey was the 
daughter of Frank and Lucy Paul Conwell.  She married Hugh D.
 Galey on June 27, 1935.  He survives.
      Also surviving are sons, Maurice Dale Galey of Fayetteville, 
N.C. and Fred D. Galey of Melbourne, Fla.; sisters, Goldie Mosier 
of Madison, Fla. and Mary  Guffey of Hartford City; and five 
grandchildren.
