Shirley (Denton) Forsyth 
      Shirley Anderson (Denton) Forsyth, 96, died Thursday, 
March 18, 2004, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
      She was born Oct. 13, 1907, in Trafalgar. Her 
parents were Sam and Dosha (Anderson) Denton. She married 
Stanley Russell Forsyth on Dec. 21, 1942, in Trafalgar. 
He preceded her in death April 4, 1975. Survivors include 
a son, Charles Forsyth of Franklin; three grandchildren, 
Jon Forsyth of Franklin, David Forsyth of Shelbyville 
and Dala Henderson of Greenwood; 10 great-grandchildren; 
and a niece. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 
Jo Ann Vaught; a son, Jim Bob Forsyth; a brother, 
Joe Denton; and a sister, Ruth Handley.
      She graduated from Trafalgar High School in 1926.
      She was a homemaker.
      She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church in 
Franklin.
      The Rev. Cleon Wright will conduct a service at 10:30 
a.m. Saturday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, 951 N. Main St. 
in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the 
funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
      Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Masonic 
Home, 690 S. State St., Franklin, IN 46131.

      Shirley Anderson Forsyth 96, Franklin, passed away 
Thursday, March 18, 2004.  She was born October 13, 1907 
in Trafalgar, IN, daughter to the late Sam and Dosha 
(Anderson) Denton.  She married Stanley Russell Forsyth 
on December 21, 1942 and he preceded her in death.  
In addition to parents and husband, she was preceded 
in death by a daughter, a son, a brother and a sister.  
Shirley graduated from Trafalgar High School in 1926.  
She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church in 
Franklin and was a homemaker.  Survivors include a son, 
Charles (Denny) Forsyth of Franklin; one niece, three 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Funeral 
services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 
20 in Vandiver - Tudor Funeral Home, Franklin, 
with Rev. Cleon Wright officiating.  Friends may call 
from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 19 at the funeral home.  
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.  
Memorial contributions may be made to The Indiana 
Masonic Home, 690 State St., Franklin, IN 46131.
