Clark Township native Charles Fitzpatrick dies
      Charles Ray Fitzpatrick, 80, Whiteland route one, a retired farmer who
also served as a school bus driver in Clark Township for over 30 years,
died this morning at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital.
      A life-long resident of the area, Fitzpatrick was born April 27, 1893.
Silas and Columbia Widener Fitzpatrick.  He attended Clark Township
schools and was a member of the Hurricane Community Church.
      Fitzpatrick was married first to the former Addie Mae Coy, who died in
1926.  He is survived by the former Lola Homell, to whom he was married
Feb. 2., 1928, in Frankfort, Indiana.
      He is also survived by sons Max Fitzpatrick of Whiteland and Dr. Donald
Dragoo of Butler, Pennsylvania, and a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Medsker of
Shelbyville.  Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ethel Covert of Whiteland,
five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vandivier-Parsley
Funeral Home in Franklin, and services will be conducted by Rev. Geen
McClain with the Reverend James Bushfield assisting.
      Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be in Greenlawn
Cemetery.
