      EDINBURGH -- Paul R. Fisher, 76, of 1480 N. Fairmount, died Saturday at
the Johnson County Memorial Hospital at Franklin.  He was a retired
employee of the Hill Brothers Veneer Co. here.
      Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Hugh Owen at 11 a.m. Tuesday
at the Eskew Funeral Home here where calling hours will be after 4 o’clock
this afternoon.  Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery here.
      Fisher was born May 11, 1905 in Taylorsville, son of Noah and Emma McClure
Fisher.  He married Nelda VerBryck in June 1927, and she survives.  He was
a member of the Columbus Moose Lodge and Shelbyville Eagles Lodge.
      Surviving besides the wife are a son, Richard E. Fisher of Miami, Fla.;
four brothers, Carl Fisher of Edinburgh, Kenneth and James Fisher both of
Shelbyville and Wayne Fisher of Shelby County; two sisters, Mabel Gardner
and Mary Jones, both of Edinburgh; five grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
