OBITUARY.

Friday, Feb. 16th, 1900 death came to the household of Charley and Hattie Fishback, and claimed as its victim their bright and charming little daughter, Wyrinda.

Wyrinda was born Sept. 18, 1895, therefore being 4 years, 4 months and 28 days old.

Her death was caused from being severely burned, about noon. Every effort was made to relieve the little sufferer; kind and willing hands left nothing possible undone; medical skill was baffled and the little sufferer closed her eyes in death about 5 o’clock.

Only those that know the full strength of parental affection can realize the full force of such a blow. Fond parents, we know you feel sad because she is gone from you, but while you weep and wonder, little Wyrinda is wrapped in garments of light and warbles songs of celestial joy. She will return to you no more, but you may go to her. The good Shepherd who cares for his lambs says, “Suffer little children to come unto Me.”

Funeral services were held Sunday Feb. 18, at the church, conducted by Rev. Riley. The little form was carried by four little girls to its last resting place and laid in the city of the dead.

Four short years she lived to bless us
With her bright and joyous smiles
And she with winsome prattle,
Many a weary hour beguiled.
Now each hour we miss our darling,
Miss her smiles and loving kiss;
From her home of joy and bliss.
