LOCAL AND PERSONAL

––––––––

Wm. Findaly [sic] died at Greenwood Saturday night from lockjaw. Early in the week while working about his home, he tramped upon a nail but did not pay much attention to the wound at first thinking it not serious, until Wednesday when his foot began paining him. A physician was then called in but too late to render any aid. The deceased was twenty-two years of age and his untimed [sic] death is lamented by a large circle of relatives and friends. His funeral occurred Monday under the auspices of the Knights of Phythias of which he was a member.
