Jerry England, 58, died 
Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, 
at his residence in New 
Whiteland.

He was born Dec. 4, 1942. 
His parents were Luther 
and Betty (Swisher) Eng-
land. Survivors include 
his former wife, Theresa 
(Horn) England; seven 
children, Sherrie Mitchell 
and Cindy Putnam, both of 
Indianapolis, John Eng-
land of Danville, Jennifer 
England of Whiteland and 
Nicole England, Troy 
Roberts and Stephanie 
Roberts, all of New 
Whiteland; two sisters, 
Tammy Lewis of Moores-
ville and Barbara Giles 
of Indianapolis; one 
brother, Gareld Dorsett 
of Florida; and nine 
grandchildren.

He was a self-employed 
paint contractor, painting 
new homes.

Pastor Dane Sinn will con-
duct a service at 10 a.m. 
Monday at Jessen Funeral 
Home in Whiteland. Friends 
may call from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Sunday at the funeral 
home. Burial will be at 
Forest Lawn Memory Gardens 
in White River Township.
