EDINBURGH — William O. Drybread, 52, of Edinburgh, died this morning at Wishard Hospital at Indianapolis.

Owner of the Tasty Shoppe Tavern here from 1973 to 1978, he had been in ill health but his death was unexpected.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew Funeral Home here where persons may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Drybread was born at Nineveh Feb. 24, 1929, the son of Oran and Louise Walker Drybread.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Nineveh Christian Church and Edinburgh American Legion. He was a 1973 retiree of General Motors Acceptance Corp. at Indianapolis.

Survivors include two children, Jay Daniel and Allison Drybread of Evansville, and a sister, Glendon K. Anderson of Edinburgh.
