Fredrick Pericles Dooley, son of J. Dooley, died at his home in Indianapolis last Friday afternoon, of consumption. He had been ill for some months but in the last few weeks more seriously than before. He was born in this city twenty-two years ago, and had lived here nearly all his life. He lived in Wichita, Kansas, during the boom in real estate in that city. After returning to this city he entered college and also stood near the head of the class. He went from here to Indianapolis, working in a drug house. His health failing he was compelled to leave his work. He was here last in October driving through to the southern part of the state, hoping that the outdoor life would benefit him but he continued to grow worse, his illness terminating last Friday in his death. Funeral services were conducted at Indianapolis Sunday afternoon. The remains were brought here Monday morning and on account of the disagreeable weather were laid in the vault until Monday afternoon when short services were conducted by Dr. W. T. Stott. Fred had a large number of friends in this city who were pained to hear of his death. The burial was under the direction of E. G. Barnhizer.
