Tillis M. Dinn
      Tillis M. Dinn, age 72 of Route 5, Greensburg, 
passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 21.  
He had not been well the last two years, however his 
passing was unexpected.  He was born March 31, 1908 
in Bartholomew County, moved to Route 2, Greensburg 
in 1942 and resided at present residence since 1951.  
He was a farmer and had been employed for several 
years at the Decatur County Highway Department.
      He was the son of Martin and Clora (Muldoon) 
Dinn.  His father preceded him in death.  He was a 
member of the Letts United Methodist Church.  Survi-
vors include his mother, Mrs. Clora Dinn of Route 2, 
Greensburg, four brothers; Oris (Bud) Dinn of Route 2, 
Greensburg, Vernon Dinn of St. Louis, Missouri, 
Joe Dinn of Route 1, Butlerville and Raymond Dinn 
of Route 2, Greensburg and four sisters; Mrs. 
Goldie Scheible of Columbus, Mrs. Susie Nading 
of Route 2, Hope, Mrs. Nina Vinters of Route 5, 
Greensburg and Mrs. Roselle Huntsman of Grant 
Street, Edinburgh.  He was preceded in death by 
his father and one sister, Mrs. Tressie Ford.
      Funeral services were Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
 at the Bass Funeral Home in Westport.  Rev. 
John Todd of Letts United Methodist Church 
officiated.  Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery, 
Edinburgh.  Visitation was held at the funeral 
home after 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
