ORIS R. DINN
      Oris R. Dinn, 75, of Route 2, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday 
at Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis.  Among survivors 
are three sisters, Mrs. Ray Scheible of Columbus, Mrs. 
Lincoln Nading of Hope, and Mrs. Lewis Huntsman of 
Edinburgh.
      Funeral services were conducted by the Rev . Patrick 
Walden at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, at Gilliland-Howe Funeral 
Home, at Greesnburg.  Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery 
at Edinburgh.
      Dinn was born in Bartholomew County Feb. 17, 1906, 
the son of the late Martin J. Dinn and Clora Muldoon Dinn 
of Route 2.  A lifelong Decatur County farmer, he served in 
the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945.  On Sept. 26, 1935, 
he married Ina Ashley in Bartholomew County.  She preceded 
him in death in 1936.
      Other survivors include three brothers, LeRoy "Joe" Dinn 
and Raymond Dinn of Greensburg and Vernon Dinn of St. 
Louis, Mo., and another sister, Mrs. Luther Venters of
 Greensburg.
