Mrs. Mahala Deer died at her home near Union Village Monday morning about six o’clock. She was the widow of Wesley Deer, and had reached the advanced age of 80 years. Her death was caused by dropsy of the heart. The funeral occurred Tuesday, interment in the Deer family cemetery.
