EDINBURGH Charles E. ’Charlie’ Davis Charles E. "Charlie" Davis, 76, died Dec. 7, 2001, at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Edinburgh He was born May 8, 1925, in Shelbyville. His parents were Oscar Earl and Daisy Davis. He married Mary Davis. She preceded him in death. Survivors include an aunt, Olive M. Davis of Franklin; an uncle, William B. Davis of Franklin; and seven cousins. He was a self-employed painter in Shelbyville and Pompano Beach, Fla. He was a member of First Christian Church, Eagles 766, American Legion Post 70, Moose Lodge 1822 in Vero Beach, Fla., and Elks Club 2407 in Fort Lauderdale. There will be no services.
