LOIS D. CROOKE
Lois D. Crooke, 76, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Sparrow Hospice Center in Lansing, Mich. She was a resident of Ionia, Mich.
She was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Edinburgh. Her parents were Roy and Violet (Wirey) Hinkle. She married Dallas Crooke Jr. on Feb. 22, 1948. He preceded her in death in May 1989. Survivors include two sons, Randy Crooke of Mandan, N.D., and Alan Crooke of Muir, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
She was employed by Seymour Pharmacy in Seymour and Dibble Drugs in Columbus as a pharmacy technician.
She was a member of First Christian Church and Psi Iota Xi, both in Greensburg.
The Rev. Byron Fritz will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling arrangements.
