Roland E. "Bud" Coy
      Roland E. "Bud" Coy, 75, 
died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, 
at Manor Care South in Indian-
apolis.  He was a resident 
of Greenwood.
      He was born July 10, 1923, 
in Edinburgh.  His parents were 
Ray and Opal (Park) Coy.  Sur-
vivors include two sons, James R. 
Coy of Cloverdale and Mark D. 
Coy of Speedway; a daughter, 
Mary Janice Lantz of Indianapolis; 
two sisters, Maxine Warren of 
New Castle and Norma Fay Hoover 
of Sheridan; seven grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Hannah Jill Coy; a 
brother, Charles R. Coy; and
a sister, Evelyn McKee. 
      He was a 1950 graduate
of Fort Worth Bible College in 
Fort Worth, Texas.
      He was a machinist for 21 
years for American Hoist & Derrick.  
He was a painter for General Devices 
for five years, retiring in 1985.
      A service will be conducted 
at 1 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn 
Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 
State Road 135 Chapel.  Friends 
may call from 11 a.m. to time of 
service Thursday at the chapel.  
Burial will be at Forest Lawn 
Memory Gardens in White River 
Township.
