Hazel Boone Coy
      Hazel Boone Coy, 98, died Monday at 
Tomball Medical Center in Tomball, Texas.
She was a resident of Spring, Texas.
      She was born in Clark Township Sept. 
17, 1891.  Her parents were Charles Joseph 
Boone and Laura May (Ballard) Boone.  
She married Elba Coy April 3, 1919.  He 
died June 7, 1979.  Survivors include a 
son, E. Boone Coy of Spring; a daughter, 
Ann LeTourneau of Spring; 12 grand-
children; 22 great-grandchildren; and 
a great-great-grandchild.
      She was a school teacher in Johnson 
County.
      She was a charter member of Com-
munity Congregational Church in Franklin, 
where she was a Sunday school teacher 
and was active in the church choir and 
the Ladies Guild Women's Auxiliary.
      Dr. Glen Wilkerson will conduct a 
service Thursday at 3 p.m. at Klein 
Funeral Chapel in Tomball.  Friends 
may call Wednesday after 2 p.m. at 
the chapel.  Burial will be at Rest-
haven Memorial Park in Houston.
      Memorial contributions may be 
made to the chapel fund at the Tomball 
Regional Medical Center, Tomball, 
Texas 77375.
