OBITUARY.

Unie E., little daughter of David and Ollie M. Coy, was born June 23, 1889, and departed this life March 17, 1891; age 1 year, 8 months and 24 days. Little Unie, after several days of sickness quietly departed this life amid many heartaches and sorrowing friends, and the little “bud of hope” that was just beginning to bloom in nature’s sweet garden, was plucked from its fair bowers to bloom in fairer climes in the deathless vase of heaven.

The funeral services took place at the Tennessee Christian church on Thursday, March 19, at 2 p.m., being conducted by Rev. F. S. Kirtley, of Franklin College after which we quietly laid her away to await the resurrection morn.

Dear parents the days of your darling were few,
An angel’s morning visit.

She came and vanished with the dew,
’Twas here, ’tis gone, where is it?
