Ellen, the two-year old daughter of W. S. Core, southwest of town, died Wednesday from the effects of a sun-stroke received two weeks previous. The funeral occurred yesterday in this city at the First Baptist church.
Note: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Birth Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-2, page 233, records that a white female infant was born to Winfield Core and Alena Webb on 23 Jul 1891.
