The funeral of William Copeland, which occurred at Waverly, Monday, the 22, was very largely attended, it being the largest crowd ever in the church. The services were conducted by Elder Crim, of Martinsville. After the sermon the Odd Fellows took charge and after their service the body was interred in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
