VIVIAN CONOVER DIES

Vivian Conover, 59, former Edinburgh resi­dent, died Friday night at the hospital in Syracuse, In­diana. She had been ill several months.

Funeral services were held at the Harris Fun­eral Home in Syracuse yesterday morning and graveside ser­vices were conducted by the Rev. David Bremer at Edin­burgh Rest Haven Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. yesterday. Mem­orials may be given to the American Cancer Soc­iety.

Miss Conover was born July 20, 1920, in Shelby County, the daughter of Claude and Hazel Wertz Conover and had graduated from Edinburgh High School. She was employed at Amos-Thompson Corpor­ation prior to moving to Syracuse where she made her home with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harkless, and was employed in the Harkless Gift Shop and boat marina and a doctor’s off­ice in Syracuse.

She was a member of the Edinburgh Presbyterian Church and Edinburgh Tri Kappa.

Surviving are a brother, Henry Conover of Edin­burgh; a niece, Cheryl Conover of Columbus and the aunt, Mrs. Harkless.
