MRS. ETHEL COFFMAN

Mrs. Ethel Coffman, 79, died Wednesday afternoon after an illness of seven months. She died in the Johnson County Memorial Hospital where she was admitted April 8th.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin. The Rev. Daniel Kapornyai will officiate and burial will be in the Nineveh Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime Saturday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mrs. Coffman was born July 17, 1888, in Brown County, the daughter of Daniel and Ann Handy Hague.

In August, 1905, she married Charles Coffman, who survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Ralph V. of Whiteland and Arthur LeRoy, of Franklin, and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Rickard of Cincinnati.

Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive, as well as a sister, Mrs. Ed Perry of Mooresville and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Coffman spent her entire life in Johnson County where she moved when she was quite young. She was educated in the rural county schools and was a member of the Nineveh Christian Church.
