Mrs. Nancy Clark, age sixty-three years, widow of Thomas Clark, died Thursday night of last week at her home in north Franklin. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. T. G. Cocks.
Notes: the 1870 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana records thirty-six-year old, Kentucky-born Nancy Leach as a domestic servant in the household of Albert and Sarah Fergason [sic}.
