CORA CLARK

Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, for Mrs. Cora Clark of R. 1, Trafalgar. Mrs. Clark died Tuesday morning at the hospital in Franklin after a 9-week illness. She was 87.

Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 6, 1884 in Bartholomew County to John and Han­nah Milnes Coy. She was married to J. Wilbur Clark on January 31, 1909. He preceded her in death in 1960.

Mrs. Clark had been a member of New Bethel, Samaria and Nineveh Christian churches.

Surviving are four children, Merrill Clark of Nineveh, Maurice Clark of Trafalgar, Mrs. Marjorie Mahoney of Wilton, Conn., and Mrs. Beulah Dinn of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters and a brother, Mrs. Della Galey, Mrs. Artie Fordyce, Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Mrs. Lena Waltz, Mrs. Esma Camp­bell, Mrs. Gladys McKee and Emer­son Coy, all of the Edinburg area. Two sisters and a brother are deceased.

Services were conducted at Van­divier-Parsley Funeral Home in Edinburg by the Rev. Ray Bozell. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburg.

Dies At Franklin

TRAFALGAR — Mrs. Cora Clark of Trafalgar route 1 died this morning at the hospital in Franklin after a 9-week illness. She was 87.

Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Vandivier-Parsley funeral home at Edinburg by the Rev. Ray Bozell. Burial will be at Rest Haven cemetery at Edinburg. Persons can call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Born Feb. 6, 1884, in Bartholomew county to John and Hannah Milnes Coy, Mrs. Clark was married Jan. 31, 1909, to J. Wilbur Clark, who died in 1960.

She had been a member of New Bethel, Samaria and Nineveh Christ­ian churches.
