Notes: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Marriage Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book 7, page 20, records that Henry O. Canary married Grace S. Sharp on 22 Nov 1893.

The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, page 31, referencing Book H-18, page 11, records that Grace Canary, a thirty-year-old [sic] white female, died 1 Jan 1899 in Indiana. Grace (Sharp) Canary could not have been thirty-years-old when she died because she is recorded on the 1880 US Federal Census for Pleasant, Johnson County, Indiana as five-year-old, Indiana-born Gracie Sharp, living in the household of her widowed mother, forty-year-old, Indiana-born Lucretia Sharp.
