Kathleen Burton, 46, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Edinburgh. She was a resident of Edinburgh.

She was born Dec. 8, 1953, in Franklin. Her father was Louis Burton. Her mother is Cleo (Woodrum) Burton of Edinburgh. Survivors include two sons, Travis Burton of Greenwood and Michael Palmeter of Edinburgh; a brother, Denver Cooper of Mount Auburn; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rolland Burton.

She was a homemaker.

The Rev. Phyllis Burton will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

She was a homemaker.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Phyllis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Ms. Burton was born in Franklin Dec. 8, 1953, the daughter of Cleo Woodrum Burton of Edinburgh and the late Louis Burton.

Also surviving are sons, Travis Burton of Greenwood and Michael Palmeter of Edinburgh; a brother Denver Cooper of Mount Auburn; and grandchildren, Cully and Sarah Burton of Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Rolland Burton.
