Linda Bryant

Linda Bryant, 53, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Edin­burgh.

She was born Feb. 6, 1950, in Col­umbus. Her parents were Arnold and Elizabeth (Mann) Denton. She married Larry Bryant on Sept. 28, 1965. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 2002. Survivors include a son, L. J. Bryant of Edinburgh; two daughters, Betty Jones and Shelby Bryant, both of Edinburgh; four brothers, Daniel and Randy Den­ton, both of Edinburgh, Steven Denton of Indianapolis and Dennis Denton of Amity; five sisters, Lois Hall, Virginia Burton and Barbara Denton, all of Nin­eveh, and Darlene Bryant and Donna Holcomb, both of Edinburgh; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jer­ry Denton.

She was employed by Lear Corp. in Edinburgh as a section leader for 21 years, retiring in July 2000.

She was a 21-year charter member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. She also served as a youth Sunday school teacher and as secretary-treasurer of the church for sev­eral years.

The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Monday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 Eisen­hower Drive, in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
