OBITUARY.

Departed this life, Hattie Bridges, daughter of Thomas J. and America Musselman, at her home one mile west of Trafalgar Saturday morning, May 2nd. The deceased was born at Samaria May 24th 1867. She was married to Andrew Bridges Dec. 14th 1887. To this union were born two daughters, one infant and one now seven years old both of which survive. Of her it can be said that life was pure, useful, and that she left not an enemy in the world. She early became a Christian and was one of the founding and earnest workers in the Christian church at Samaria. The community and all who knew her feel that language does not express the gratitude due her memory as a Christian woman for the many helpful deeds and kindly spoken words received from her. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. C. Ashley at Trafalgar Monday forenoon and burial took place at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to the resting place, and join the bereaved husband and daughters in sincere sympathy.
