  JAMES BRICKEY

James Brickey, 62, of Nineveh, brother of Mrs. Violet Miner of Edinburgh and Mrs. Gusta Hants of Nineveh which whom he made his home, died Thurs­day at Johnson Coun­ty Memorial Hospital. He had been hospitalized only two days but had been in poor health for several years.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Eldon Earnest at Vandivier-Tudor Fun­eral Home in Franklin Satur­day afternoon. Burial was at Nineveh Cemetery.

Brickey was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Nineveh the son of James R. and Alta B. Walker Brickey. He was a 1937 graduate of Frank­lin High School, attended Franklin College and was employed in the Dry Clean­ing business for 35 years, first in Ft. Wayne and later in Franklin re­tiring in 1977.

The deceased was a mem­ber of the Summit City Masonic Lodge 170, Royal Arch Masons 19-KT4 and Council 4 R and S. M. all in Ft. Wayne and Nineveh Christian Church, Ninev­eh, Eastern Star chapter 466 and the Over 50 club.

Surviving with the two sisters are six nieces and nephews, Philip Car­ter, Joe Carter, Judy Kline, Marilyn Baker, Jim­my Brickey, and Mary El­len Keith. The parents, two brothers and a sister preceded in death.
