Abraham Brewer, one of the oldest and most prominent and influential citizens of Johnson county, died at his home, near Greenwood, Tuesday morning. He was near fifty-eight years of age; an honest and upright gentleman, loved and respected by all who knew him. During his life he sowed seeds of kindness; extended the hand of charity to the needy, and his counsel and advice was that of a good and a pure man. He will be sadly missed from the community in which he has so long resided. Funeral services were held yesterday at Greenwood Presbyterian church.
