Arthur Brenton
Arthur Brenton, 82, died Thursday at Clearwater Community Hospital in Clearwater, Fla. He was a resident of Dunedin, Fla., for 24 years and a former resident of Greenfield and Indianapolis.
He was born Aug. 10, 1908, in Acton. His parents were Frank and Jessie Brenton. He was married to Gladys I. (Barker) Brenton. She died Jan. 27, 1986. Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Rempel of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a sister, Marie Schriefer of Dunedin; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was retired self-employed cabinet maker and carpenter.
He was a member of Southport Masonic Lodge 270 F&AM.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
No funeral service or calling is planned. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Wilson-St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel is handling local arrangements.
