Mancil Lee Bray

Nineveh area resident Mancil Lee Bray died Monday, May 6, 1996, at his home. He was 63.

Mr. Bray was born December 22, 1932, in Corinth, Mississippi, to Ben and Cora L. Grissom Bray.

He and Betty J. Emerson were married June 28, 1950. She sur­vives.

Mr. Bray had worked as a fork lift driver at Arvin Industries. He retired in 1991 after 36 years with the company.

He was a member of Aerospace and Machinists Union Local 1208.

Other survivors include four daughters, Marilyn S. Brinkman and Donna C. Terry, both of Greenwood, Brenda J. Anderson of Nineveh and Carolyn J. Phillips of Butte, Montana; two sons, Harold W. Bray of Morgantown and Jerry L. Bray of Nineveh; three sisters, Lona Browning of Franklin and Alma Bain and Lilly Gray, both of Corinth, Mississippi; three brothers, Elbert S. Bray of Whiteland, John E. Bray of Needham and Tom Bray of Corinth, Mississippi; 14 grandchil­dren; and a great-grandchild.

The Reverend William Gott led a service Thursday, May 9, at the Forest Lawn-Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home in Johnson County.

Burial was in Johnson County’s Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
