Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Franklin, Franklin Township, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, Health Officer’s Record Number 40, page 159 records that Edgar Bray died at about 7 o’clock p. m. on 22 Oct 1900 in Franklin, Indiana from asthenia, aged one year, one month and no days. He was male, white and single, born in Franklin, Indiana. His father’s name was Willis Bray and his mother’s maiden name Ellen Conner, both born in Indiana. The informant was Willis Bray. Edgar was buried in Greenlawn on 22 Oct 1900, E. G. Barnhizer, undertaker. Note that the Doctor’s entry records Edward as his first name, but his father’s entry records his name as Edgar, which matches the Birth Index entry.
