Funeral services were held at the Old Union Church of Christ by the Rev. Charles Bell Wed- nesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for Max E. Bozell, 52, Edinburgh rural route 2, who died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Jan. 1, at 8:30 a.m. at Bartholo- mew County Hospital.

Burial was at Old Union Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Allan Brown, Thomas Andrews, Wayne Neville, Russell Wilson, Dale Jaggers, and David Chrisman. Calling hours had been held at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home South Edinburgh Chapel.

A guard at Cummins Engine Company in Col­umbus and a farmer, Bo­zell was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Bartholomew County the son of the late Rev. Ray and Hallie Andrews Bozell. He mar­ried Ola Clark Nov. 4, 1949 and she survives.

He was a member of the Old Union Church of Christ, where he was a trustee of the church, served as a Democrat pre­cinct committeeman for several years, was a vet­eran of World War II.

Other survivors include a brother, Rev. Wayne Bozell of Shelbyville, and a foster brother, Robert Wheaton of Arling­ton Heights, Ill.

Funeral service for Max E. Bozell, 52, Edinburgh route 2, was conducted Wednesday at Old Union United Church of Christ by the Rev. Charles Bell. Burial was at Old Union Cem­etery.

Bozell died Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital.

Mrs. Lawson Clark was soloist and Betty Pence was organist.

Pallbearers were Allan Brown, Thomas Andrews, Wayne Neville, Russell Wilson, Dale Zigler, and David Christman.

Vandivier-Parsley South Edinburgh Chapel made funeral arrangements.
