John Bostofer, Found Dead.

It was announced last week in the Democrat that John Bostofer, who had been in charge of Uriah Wisby’s farm in Hensley township, had mysteriously disappeared.

Sunday morning Mars Percifield and Dit Kemp found his dead body in the frozen mud along the banks of Indian Creek near the place where he had been last seen alive.

Coroner Jones was summoned and viewed the remains. His verdict will be found in another column.

Bostofer was a German and is said to have relatives in Indianapolis. An effort was made to find them but was unsuccessful.

The remains were buried at Morgantown.
