Charles Blake, the eight-year-old son of George and Amy Blake, near Greenwood, died Saturday evening after an illness of several weeks. The funeral was held at ten a.m. Monday attended by a large number of sympathizing friends. The deceased was a grandson of Log McClellan.

Little Charlie Blake, died Saturday last about one o’clock, of heart trouble. Burial at high noon Monday. He was a bright little boy of eight years and seven months.
