  Sgt. Dale Bills, Engineer On
    Flying Fortress, Is Re-
      ported Lost July 28;
         Edinburg Grad
  The county’s list of dead and
missing in World War II was boost-
ed today with word from the War
Department that Technical Sergeant
W. Dale Bills, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Bills of near Needham, is
listed as missing.
  Sgt. Bills, a member of the army
air forces, has been missing In the
European area since July 28.  He
has been overseas since early in June
and served as an engineer on a Fly-
ing Fortress.
  Formerly employed by the Indian-
apolis Power & Light Company, Sgt.
Bills is the husband of Mrs. Eliza-
beth Bills of Sandborn.
  The Bills family moved to the
Needham community after being
forced to evacuate their farm house
in the Pigsah community at the
time of the construction of Camp
Atterbury.
  A former student in and graduate
of Edinburg high school, Sgt. Bills
is a cousin of Loran E. Bills of
Bargersville, principal of Center
Grove high school and assistant
agricultural agent of Johnson county.
